- Software Freedom Day 2010(18 Sep 2010)
The first Beginner's Workshop was a great success, with over 30 people converging on The Hub and lots of advice and solutions being shared. Help us make the second one even better by coming along on March 21st.
We intend to cover things like:
The Hub @ Docklands, 17 Waterview Walk, Docklands (near the corner of Bourke Street and Harbour Esplanade - look for the giant rabbit sculpture)
Melway reference: 2E H7
Parking can be found nearby. Coffee and breakfast are available just across the road. Wireless internet access is provided.
For those coming via Public Transport, the City Circle, number 48 (North Balwyn - Docklands) number 86 (Bundoora - Docklands) and number 70 (Wattle Park - Docklands) all stop on the corner of Bourke Street and Harbour Esplanade. Southern Cross Station is just across the overpass over Wurundjeri Road.

do you need to bring...
a machine/computer?
x
bring a machine
If you have a specific problem with your machine that you want solved, then yes, bring a machine.
how long will the workshop run for?
I work until 1pm at Tullamarine which makes being at the workshop by 12 a bit of a problem.... how many hours does it run and is it OK if I arrive at 1.30ish?
duration
The workshops run until around 4pm, so arriving any time before then is fine.
