The LUV AGM is upon us - and this means it's time to vote in the committee. This year we are using an online election system (the same used by Linux Australia for the past few years - so if you're familiar with the LA election system, you'll be fine with the LUV one).

Stewart Smith is the returning officer this year, Stewart Smith. You can reach him at: returning-officer@luv.asn.au.

All election queries should be directed to him.

This is how the election will work:

  • We are accepting nominations now, until the end of the 31st.
  • A member needs to nominate somebody (you can nominate yourself)
  • A different member needs to second the nomination (by nominating again).
  • Once nominated twice (1st and 2nd), a member can choose to accept the nomination and enter in a spiel.
  • From the 1st to the 4th of September, members may vote.
  • The results will be announced at the meeting that night, with results being viewable on the internet later in the evening.

You will need to create an account in the election system (MemberDB).
