What is it ?

kerneld is a user-level process which provides on-demand loading of kernel modules. As such, memory is saved since modules like (in my case) sbpcd, iso9660, nfs, vfat, sound et al. are only loaded when they're needed. Furthermore, the modules are unloaded after a minute of inactivity.

What do I need ?
